FAFSA - Report Income from 2 Years Prior
Beginning with this application cycle, students will report income information from the tax year two years prior to the academic year. So, on the 2017-2018 FAFSA, income information from the 2015 tax year should be reported.

FAFSA open earlier
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) became available for the 2017-2018 academic year on Oct. 1, 2016. The availability of the FAFSA has been permanently moved up three months earlier to assist schools in providing earlier financial aid notifications. As of November 6th, Texas A&M University has received 6750 FAFSAs for Fall 2017 Freshmen applicants.

Admissions Application Deadline
Freshman Fall 2017 Admissions applications are due by midnight, Dec. 1, 2016. Although the College of Engineering early action deadline has passed, please continue to encourage your students to apply.
